Earnings per share and dividends Earnings per share of profit attributable to ordinary shareholders was HK$0.93 in the first half of 2020, representing a decrease of 19% from HK$1.15 in the first half of 2019. As at 30 June 2020, the number of ordinary shares outstanding was 29,090,262,630. HK$2,909 million in cash will be distributed as interim dividend.
